About Us

With ample experience in childcare, Carl and Amy Robertson aim to increase the awareness of the sport of basketball throughout the country, setting up more and more classes along the way. The classes are designed to encourage more children from as young as 3 years old to participate and have fun while building their confidence, with all sessions tailored to each child’s age and needs.

Since launching in 2021, Young Ballerz Basketball has experienced significant growth and is now open to franchising, with the first franchise recently signed in North Essex. This marks an exciting new chapter in the mission to make basketball more accessible to families across the UK.

Carl, who played at the University of Worcester, one of the leading basketball universities in the country, brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the programme. Together with Amy, they are driven to change the way basketball is approached in this country from the ground up.

Not every child needs to be chasing an academy spot. For us, it’s about Basketball for Life, where fun, inclusion, and love for the game come first.
