As we head towards Christmas and wrap up another exciting year at Young Ballerz Basketball, it feels like the perfect moment to look back on what has been an incredible year for our growing community. 2025 has brought so much progress, so many new faces, and some truly memorable milestones. Most importantly, it has reminded us why we do what we do: to give children across the UK the opportunity to enjoy fun, inclusive and confidence-building grassroots basketball sessions.
This year, we have welcomed more families than ever before, with hundreds of children joining our basketball classes and taking their first steps into the sport. For many of them, Young Ballerz was their very first experience with basketball, and seeing their skills, teamwork and self-belief grow week after week has been a genuine highlight. Knowing that some of these children may never have had the chance to try basketball if our grassroots programmes didn’t exist continues to inspire everything we do.
2025 was also a landmark year for our wider journey as a business. We proudly signed our first two Young Ballerz Basketball franchisees, marking a major step in expanding the reach of our programme and bringing high-quality children’s basketball coaching to new areas. With more franchise conversations already underway and new territories set to open in 2026, it is exciting to see the demand for our franchise model grow.
