Young Ballerz Basketball Expands into Mid Essex with New Chelmsford Classes Starting April

Young Ballerz Basketball continues to grow across Essex, and we are excited for the Mid Essex basketball sessions to get underway.

Our kids basketball classes in Chelmsford will officially begin on 12th April, bringing our fun, structured basketball programme to even more children and families across Mid Essex.

Leading the Mid Essex territory is James, someone who has been connected to Young Ballerz Basketball for a number of years. As a parent, James has regularly brought his own children to our sessions and has seen first-hand the confidence, enjoyment and development that basketball can bring to young players.

After seeing the impact the sessions had on his own family, James decided he wanted to take things one step further. Like many people balancing work and family life, he was looking for an opportunity to step away from the traditional 9–5 routine and build something of his own. Becoming part of the Young Ballerz Basketball network allows him to run his own business while also creating a lifestyle that provides greater flexibility and more time with his family.

The launch of the Mid Essex territory is another exciting step for Young Ballerz Basketball as we continue working towards our mission of introducing basketball to more children across the UK. The first location will be in Chelmsford, offering basketball classes for children aged 3–14. These sessions focus on building confidence, developing coordination, improving basketball skills and helping children enjoy being active in a supportive environment. While Chelmsford is the starting point, there are already plans to grow the programme further across Mid Essex. Additional locations such as Brentwood, Billericay and surrounding areas are already being explored as they look to bring Young Ballerz Basketball sessions to even more communities.

Expanding into new areas allows us to reach more families who are looking for fun, structured sports activities for their children. Our sessions are designed to give young players a positive first experience with basketball while helping them develop important life skills such as teamwork, confidence and resilience.
